Athletics, Clubs, and Extracurriculars

Through a variety of offerings, both during and after school hours, students learn new skills, foster connections with peers outside the classroom, and find a sense of belonging at Windward.

Learning by doing

Outside The Classroom

Athletics, clubs, field trips, and Friday trips provide Windward students with valuable learning opportunities, enrichment, and extracurricular sports and activities that build a sense of community, belonging, and school spirit. The School offers a variety of clubs that are based around student interests, while the after-school athletics program provides a broad range of athletic opportunities for middle school students. Field trips occur throughout the school year and are planned around the topics and themes that students are learning in the classroom. Friday trips, offered to middle school students after school, help introduce students to the rich cultural opportunities in our region.
