School Day Clubs

During the school day, various clubs meet at recess for middle schoolers in Manhattan and Westchester under the supervision of Windward faculty members. Clubs gather one or more times per week for an 8-week session, with some spanning the school year. Current offerings include:

After-school clubs are offered to all students at Windward across all four divisions. Current offerings include:

After-School Athletics

The after-school athletics program at Windward provides a broad range of sports for middle school students in Manhattan and Westchester. Current offerings include:

Field Trips and Friday Trips

Windward students across all campuses and grades participate in a number of school day field trips throughout the year. Field trips take place during the school day. Middle schools students in Manhattan and Westchester are also offered Friday trips throughout the school year, which occur after the school day. Trips vary by campus. Past trips have included:

• Local museums, aquariums, and zoos
• Outdoor activity/adventure parks
• Medieval Times
• Mets and Yankees games
• Broadway shows
