"The Research Process: Essential Skills for Academic Success"

This new four session course is being offered to non-Windward students in grades 7-10.  Sessions will be held in Manhattan and Westchester.  

About the course: 
This four-session course is for non-Windward students in grades 7-10 who desire to improve their writing and research skills. During the course, study skills will be taught within the framework of writing a research paper. As students work on their papers, they will learn the organizational and time management skills necessary for academic success in high school. Direct instruction will be given in critical reading, taking notes, organizing information, developing outlines, and writing a paper.
