On Wednesday, October 27, John J. Russell, EdD, presented to Jamaican educators and members of Jamaica’s Early Childhood Commission and the Ministry of Education.
In his presentation, Dr. Russell provided the knowledge and tools for educators to advocate for evidence-based professional development supported by the Science of Reading to allow them to provide most effective teaching method for teaching reading to all Jamaican students.
This past summer, Dr. Russell also shared these disruption strategies at the Wyoming Department of Education 2021literacy and education summits.
