As a proud member of The Haskins Global Literacy Hub, The Windward Institute shares ongoing projects such as this collaboration with GraphoGame. GraphoGame is an academically research-informed educational reading game for learning and training letter sound knowledge, decoding and word level fluency. It has been used successfully with students in Finland entering school for over a decade and implemented in over 20 countries. Meta-analysis research suggests that it is most effective when adults are engaged in the learning process (McTigue et al. Reading Res Q. 2019).
