Jon Rosenshine is the Associate Head of School of The Windward School.  He has been an educator for over 25 years as a middle and high school English teacher and as a school administrator.  After working at schools in New York City and Westchester, he came to The Windward School in 2013.  Jon’s research interests include ethical leadership and character education, especially issues of motivation, grit, and resilience.  He enjoys sharing his interests by presenting workshops at local and national conferences, and he is currently working towards finishing a doctorate through the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.  In his dissertation, he is researching the independent reading habits and perspectives of middle and high school students as they engage with books either digitally or traditionally.
