Why this course:

Phonological awareness is a critical component of scientifically-based reading instruction, which is supported by decades of research on the Science of Reading. Phonological awareness encompasses the identification and manipulation of phonemes as well as larger units of sounds such as syllables and onset rimes. These skills are essential foundational blocks for successful word reading.
