Help Windward Reach Its Goal of $500,000!

On December 3, 2019 help celebrate the worldwide philanthropic effort of #GivingTuesday and support the Windward Fund. Your generosity positively impacts our community by supporting professional development for teachers, extensive parent education, and significant financial aid.

WHAT IS #GIVINGTUESDAY?

The Windward School participates yearly in #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that is celebrated annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. #GivingTuesday harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. All gifts made on this day count as your family’s participation to the Windward Fund.

WHERE YOUR GIFT GOES

Your contribution supports the Windward Fund (formerly the Annual Fund), which provides flexible and immediate funds for the most critical areas of student and faculty need, including financial aid, campus improvements, academic programming, and so much more.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Volunteer.

On December 3 from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. please join fellow parents/guardians, alumni, and staff for a special evening of mingling, wine and cheese, and making outreach calls to fellow parents. Training will be provided for all volunteers. Enjoy some wine and spend time with other Windward parents/guardians while helping Windward.

If you are unavailable to attend the special evening event, don’t worry! The phonathon will be going on all day. Come into Westchester Middle School (JCH Conference room) or the Manhattan campus (3rd floor conference room) at whatever time it is most convenient for you to help make these important calls!

Donate.

Every gift, regardless of the size, directly benefits our students!

Help spread the word.

Tell your friends and family why you are giving back to Windward this year. We hope you continue to keep Windward in your thoughts this holiday season.
