What is Marchmester?

Marchmester is for current Windward students in grades 1-9 at all three campuses: Westchester Lower School, Westchester Middle School, Manhattan Lower School, and Manhattan Middle School.

Spring Break is a terrific time to develop friendships and try something new. The Marchmester at The Windward School offers students access to a variety of mini-courses in an environment that promotes positive social growth.

Marchmester is an excellent opportunity for students to return to campus for a unique and engaging extracurricular experience. Marchmester is held at the Westchester Middle School Campus on West Red Oak Lane in White Plains.

To give you a sense of options for 2019, the 2018 Marchmester offered programs for Windward Students in the lower and middle school grades. Students in the lower school program participated in a full day of activities including sports & games, science camp, and clay studio. Students in the middle school program could enroll in either full or half day sessions with class options including cooking, Sphero coding and programming, basketball, sports & games, sculpture, printmaking, clay studio, multimedia art, photography, and theater.
