On Thursday, December 20, an intimate gathering of alumni, faculty, administrators, and friends toasted the holidays at The Windward School’s Manhattan campus. Between browsing past yearbooks, reminiscing about prior years at Windward, enjoying the spread of hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, touring the Manhattan campus, and reconnecting with former teachers and classmates, many new friendships were established at the alumni holiday reception.
The Windward School Summer Program is designed for all students, Windward and non-Windward, in Grades 3-9 (as of September 2019) who want to improve their skills in the area of reading, writing, math, science, and study and organizational skills. Classes are available in Westchester and Manhattan, and the month-long program will take place from Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 26.
Seven Windward faculty and staff members joined more than 6,400 educators and students at the NAIS People of Color Conference. Their learnings and experiences will be shared in the new year as part of the School's on-going commitment to diversity and inclusion.
