2017-2018 Annual Fund

Help Transform Lives at The Windward School

Gifts to the Annual Fund support the yearly operating budget of the School and are critical to its financial health. Your gift to the Annual Fund supports the people and the programs that make The Windward School successful.

These tax-deductible gifts are current-use dollars and have a direct and immediate impact on every student and teacher’s experience. Your gift ensures our students can reach their full academic potential and enables teachers to implement the Proven Windward Way to all 862 students this academic year.

The Annual Fund is the School’s philanthropic priority.

Your gift to the Annual Fund supports:

Expertly trained and highly effective teachers – Windward teachers receive a combined 11,00 hours of professional development each year. The Windward School spends $80,000-$100,000 on each teacher annually to enhance their expertise in teaching children with language-based learning disabilities.

Small Classes Windward’s 4:1 ratio of students to faculty members is exceptional, even by independent school standards, and it is essential to delivering our research-based, direct instruction program.

Financial Aid Windward students receive over $5 million in financial aid. This support helps ensure that every student seeking enrollment has the financial ability to do so.

Parent & Guardian Education The Windward School prepares parents and guardians to advocate for their children by offering over ten seminars and two lectures a year by world-renowned experts in language-based learning disabilities and child development.
