WPA Hosts First CommUNITY Service Day

Together, everyone at both campuses assembled an astounding 2,395 dignity kits for the homeless at New Covenant Center in Stamford and the New York Common Pantry, 217 dog toys for Adopt-A-Dog, Inc., 50 pet blankets for Best Friends Animal Shelter, 201 cards for Gods Love We Deliver, and hundreds of placemats for Meals on Wheels.

Thank you to the CommUNITY Service Day Co-Chairs, Susan Petrie and Anne-Louise Zachry, who did a fantastic job coordinating this wonderful day of helping others. The WPA would like to thank all the volunteers who helped run the event and donated products. Most of all, thank you to the students, siblings, parents/guardians, faculty, and staff who spent a morning together to support some great causes.
